.Helps to make clinical decisions: the identification of the genetic profile made by the Cardio inCode® service offers an important starting point in establishing preventative and/or therapeutic measures.
.Optimization of the risk function: the cardiovascular risk function is optimised with genetic information that is in addition to and independent of that currently studied.
.Easy sample collection: the identification of the genetic profile is made on the basis of DNA obtained from a sample of the patient's saliva.
.Integrated service: supply of the kit for collecting the saliva sample, transport of the sample by courier, determination of the genetic variants, creation of a personalised genetic advisory report and its delivery.
.Quality: the genotyping performed by the Cardio inCode® service is carried out in the Human Genotyping laboratory of the National Centre for Oncological Research (CNIO) in an environment of suitable quality for performing this type of test (ISO 15189 standard).
